I am Brynna. I love Jesus, my family, laughter, adventures (sometimes in the woods), deep conversations, reading, learning how to do new things, writing songs and stories,  going on walks, sunny days, good music, and a whole lot more. My vices are butter, cotton candy and bubble tea.  And maybe some non food-related items. I’m good at arguing, making people laugh, acting silly, and sometimes cooking.  I’m bad at a lot of things, too. I live in Portland, Oregon, with my husband, Eric, and my cat, Kieran.

Brynna Begins is a blog about my creative process, taking chances, learning new things, pursuing projects and dreams, and leaning on the grace God gives me to take things one day at a time.  It is about paying attention to the process, enjoying today and not worrying about tomorrow.

Through this exercise in process, perseverance, and recognizing grace in each day, I pray to become more thankful, patient, and joy-filled.
